The Profine®kit was designed and tested simulating its use by a family. The system was subjected to four months of intensive testing that could reproduce even the holiday periods from one day to one month. The filtered water was subjected to the test through multiple chemical, physical and microbiological analysis.
Profine® kit worked flawlessly, so much so that he has been granted the prestigious certification Italian Institute for Hygienic Quality of Food Technology (Tifq).
It is with pride that we list the results of the analysis carried out in the TIFQ laboratories:
– the filter absorbs 90% of the chlorine in the water,
– No bacteria was found, even after periods during which the filter has not worked for the holidays,
– After breaks of 30 and 60 days, it has not detected the presence of Pseudomonas oleaginous,
– The cartridge has been able to treat 10,000 liters, continuing his performance.

Understand when to replace the cartridge is easy with the new Profine® Tap with LED Indicator.
Using two integrated timers, the Profine® Tap monitors the litres supplied and also the time spent from the moment of the installation of the cartridge.
When you open the tap, the lighting of the blue led indicates that the filtration system is operating in correspondence with the flow. Thanks to the proportional couting, when the cartridge has reached the maximum capacity or when a calendar year has passes from installation, the fixed red led will show you that it’s the time to switch to the refill.

Reduction
We recommend replacing the cartridge at the end of its nominal range, or if the output flow ate is
too slow. It’s better that you replace the cartridge within 365 days of its installation. Before removing
the cartridge, close the upstream water inlet and eliminate the pressure in the circuit by opening the
downstream tap. To activate the cartridge correctly, open the inlet valve and supply water for at least
five minutes before drinking it.

Profine BIG Range
Profine® BIG water treatment systems have been designed to be particularly long-lasting in all their variants.
The entire BIG line features the unique Profine® technology already used in the coloured Profine® filters.
There are four versions, 2.0, 3.0, 4.5 and 6.0, available with an optional integrated by-pass.
The Profine® BIG line boasts a typical interior of various treatment stages:
